Luminia is developing more than 50 MW of community solar throughout New England in New Hampshire, Maine, Connecticut and Massachusetts.
We have introduced a revolutionary approach to community solar projects that not only creates a positive impact on the environment but also benefits the financial well-being of the communities we serve. Our uniquely cited solar projects are designed to drive economic growth, create local jobs, reduce tax rates, generate annual revenue from underutilized properties and lower the overall cost of electricity.
Our projects range from rooftop solar to agrivoltaics to landfill solar farms — including projects that are ready to deliver power into Community Power (CCA), NEB, GNM and SMART programs across the region.
The inception and development of these projects can generate over 600 short term and long term jobs in the local communities and bring over $1 million of benefit into the local cities through tax revenues to towns, land lease revenues to cities and energy savings to rate payers. Generating enough energy to power over 8,000 homes, our community solar projects are a game changer for local communities.
