Ambassador Auditorium Solar & Energy Efficiency Project

Project Overview

The 1200-seat Ambassador Auditorium in Pasadena, CA hosts the Harvest Rock Church, Pasadena Symphony, Pasadena Youth Symphony, Riverside Symphony, LA Youth Orchestra and many special events.

Harvest Rock Church sought to make extensive renovations while preserving the unique look and feel of the iconic space.

Property owners enlisted C5 Energy Solutions to lead the project. Sixteen+ contractors were selected to bring cutting edge technologies and upgrades to the property. Each renovation was designed to lower operating costs and reduce greenhouse gas emissions to ensure audiences can enjoy this auditorium for generations to come.

Luminia worked with C5 Energy Solutions to provide single-source financing for the more than $5M of renewable energy and energy efficiency upgrades. Financing did not require any money down, and savings will begin immediately after installation.

118 kW rooftop solar system installed by Safari Energy.

Lighting upgrades were provided by WESCO/South Coast Electrical, reducing lighting energy spend by 70%.

3M window film installed by Campbell Window Film, improving indoor comfort, reducing HVAC costs and minimizing glare.
