Project Overview

Gables Residential sought to modernize its Oak Creek location, a 148-unit three-story community built in 2005 at 24875 Prielipp Road in Wildomar, with a solar-integrated carport system designed to replace aging canopy structures and deliver long-term sustainability benefits. The installation generates immediate economic value over the system’s 25-year lifetime.

In addition to cost savings, the project improves the resident and visitor experience with shaded, well-lit parking that enhances comfort, safety, and overall property appeal. Luminia and its partners simplified permitting through an over-the-counter approval process and collaborated with local officials and engineers to resolve site challenges, including EV charger placement and ADA compliance, ensuring a smooth path to completion in just 8 months.
